Before you go
- Fill in the ED card only on the official site edcardaruba.aw; sites charging more than $20 are not official. Show the approval to your airline before check-in. Submitting it does not guarantee entry: your eligibility is assessed on arrival.
- Passport and stay: UK travelers need a passport valid for the length of the stay and can stay up to 3 months without a visa (gov.uk, read 6 November 2026). Other nationalities: check with your own government.
- Paying locally: cash is widely accepted in taxis; ask about cards before you ride. For bus fares and passes see getting around.
- Staying connected without roaming fees: see the eSIM box on this page.
- Prices: the cost of a trip and the Oranjestad walking tour (2.5 hours) give a first sense.
- Tipping: there is no official rule; check whether service is already added to the bill.
